C Lupton and Sons are Dairy Farmers based in Yorkshire. From their site based in Selby, Yorkshire, they also offer a hardstanding area for caravan guests.

Bambu met with the family to demonstrate how they can take control of their ongoing energy management by working with GivEnergy High Voltage Range and a design was provided to include;

• 10kW Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter
• 2 x 20.34 kWh high voltage battery stacks 
• 1 x 50 amp Whole site Backup automatic switch 
• 32 x 455 Watt Aiko N-Type panels
• 32 x Tigo Optimisers 
• Bird control

The project was installed by the Approved Technical Delivery Partner, Phase Energy SE Ltd

Alex on behalf of Bambu said;

‘ At design stage it was clear that this site would greatly benefit from the GivEnergy whole site Ecosystem. In July we have reduced the consumption of the site by 60% and we have identified an opportunity to use the sites off peak tarrif to charge the battery within the winter months’

‘ Bambu were very helpful in assisting us with the Design and location of all the kit and when demonstrating the capability of the system they showed us how beneficial the data would be for our site. Bambu then worked closely with the Phase Energy team to carry out the installation to the Bambu design. We have had a data review meeting which has demonstrated what we have saved just by turning the system on and then how we could have identified greater savings by being more strategic with our energy usage’
